On album Ist Floor.
The Floor was a new name adopted in late 1967 by successful Danish rock group The Hitmakers, formed in Copenhagen in 1960. Later influenced by Merseybeat, they covered I Saw Her Standing There on a 1963 single and opened for The Beatles in Frederiksberg. At the time of this album The Hitmakers had recently expanded and updated to meet current trends as The Floor, but they finally disbanded in 1968.

Inspired by current American folk groups, Hootenanny Singers were formed in Västervik in 1961. They were signed to Polar Records under their original name West Bay Singers after winning a radio talent contest in 1963. Their peak popularity was during the 1960s when they had several successful singles on Svensktoppen, the long-running radio chart of Swedish-composed songs. The band broke up in 1974, and a late-70s relaunch with two original members did not recreate the earlier successes.
