First performed by The Shadows on TV series Lulu, on 18 January 1975.
This was during a selection process for UK’s Eurovision entrant. The Shadows performed all of the contenders on Lulu over six weeks from 4 January, and (as Lulu says in her introduction) Don’t Throw It All Away was the third. The YouTube video is from the culminating episode on 15 February 1975 (recorded 9 February) when viewers could vote for their favourites.
Don’t Throw It All Away did not win: The Shadows took Let Me Be The One to Eurovision.
