Clearly a dip o' the old lid to Buddy Holly's Peggy Sue, Sheila was the first hit for Atlanta pop singer Tommy Roe. His later work tended towards bubblegum, as the titles suggest: Sweet Pea, Dizzy, Jam Up And Jelly Tight. See also Susie Darlin'.
